Welding

We offer services in plastic welding, fabrication, and delivery of plastic products, from small components to larger systems. We provide everything from custom-made components to complete systems, pipelines, and large installations. We build new systems, retrofit, repair, and improve old or damaged components. We perform welding for most sheet and tube work.

To meet part of the documentation requirements for the work performed, a QR code is generated and attached to the pipes. This code contains all welding logs related to the pipe or pipeline.

"We believe that there are no problems, only challenges that can be solved."

Our welders are certified according to NS 416 and NS-EN 13067. We have the equipment and machines to handle most tasks, either in our production facility located in Kunes or using our portable equipment, allowing us to perform tasks on-site.

We have welding benches with capacities up to 630 mm pipes, extruders, hot air welders, internal bead removal tools, CNC milling machines, 3D laser scanners, and 3D printers available.

Our welders primarily work with a material called thermoplastic. This plastic has a long lifespan, and we mainly use three types of thermoplastics: polyethylene, polypropylene, and polyvinyl chloride. polyetylenpolypropylen, and polyvinylklorid The properties of thermoplastics allow the base plastic to become plastic and formable upon heating without undergoing any chemical curing reactions. This means it can be made plastic repeatedly by heating and can be reworked after it is made. Polyethylene is the most produced type of plastic worldwide and is often classified by density. Two common types are PE-HD and PE-LD. PE-HD achieves greater strength and better temperature resistance than PE-LD. PE-HD is a relatively stiff plastic material used for sewage, water, and gas pipes, as well as food containers, toys, etc., and is the type of polyethylene plastic we use.

Polypropylene is another of the most common thermoplastics. The advantages of PPplastic are its low density combined with high wear resistance. PP plastic has, above all, high fatigue strength and can withstand relatively high temperatures without losing its properties.

Polyvinyl chloride is the raw material for PVC, one of the most used plastics. plasticPolyvinyl chloride is used in pipes, bottles, containers, wallpaper, building panels, rubber boots, tarpaulins, and as cable insulation.

The material used is adapted to the intended purpose, whether for the production of larger systems or smaller components. The thermoplastics mentioned above are not exhaustive, and we always use the most suitable material.

We emphasize the following aspects in our work:

  • Quality:We ensure that our customers experience high quality in all aspects of our operations and can trust that we deliver according to current standards.
  • Accuracy:We take pride in performing work with high precision and accuracy, ensuring that our customers and partners can trust us as a serious player in the market.
  • Certification: We ensure that our employees are always up-to-date and certified in line with current laws and standards. This also applies to all other aspects of our business, including equipment and office work.
  • SustainabilityWe continuously work to make our production more sustainable. Through the FRAM project under the auspices of Innovation Norway, we are well on our way to achieving this goal.
